Post Surgery Treatments

MLD after a cosmetic procedure...

MLD is a vital part of post cosmetic procedure, aftercare recovery.  Lymphatic drainage reduces the risk of seromas, infection and is imperative to prevent or break-down fibrosis.

The lymphatic system can become overwhelmed and unable to function efficiently, leading to swelling and discomfort.  This is where manual lymphatic drainage comes into play.

Manual lymphatic drainage massage promotes lymphatic flow, navigating the excess fluid containing toxins and debris to the body's drainage pathways, whilst encouraging the vascular system to reabsorb the lymphatic fluid that has been purified by the lymph nodes.

Lymphatic drainage treatment is not a luxury, it's a necessity post cosmetic surgery including post cancer breast reconstruction.
